About

Access Scioto County is the public transit system for Scioto County, Ohio.

We provide schedule in advance, demand response, shared ride transportation available to anyone in the city of Portsmouth, all of Scioto County and South Shore, Kentucky Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Our service is curb-to-curb, meaning that service is provided from the curb of your pickup location to the curb of your destination. 
Door to door service is available on request. Access Scioto County provides an important service to those individuals who cannot or chose not to drive.

Each day hundreds of people from many different walks of life use our services to go to work, shopping, medical appointments, school and many other destinations. 

It is our mission to provide safe, reliable, affordable and efficient public transportation throughout the Scioto County area, regardless of age, race, income or disability.
